Process for Defining Report Content
This report focuses on Kames Petroleum Services’s priority
areas, which were identified through a process
incorporating GRI’s principles, including the Oil
and Gas Sector supplement, and the IPIECA/API
reporting guidelines for defining report content,
including:
Materiality:
Kames Petroleum Services believes the report
covers all major issues that reflect its significant
economic, environmental and social impacts,
or the issues that would substantively influence
the assessments and decisions made by its
stakeholders.
Stakeholder inclusiveness:
Kames Petroleum Services
has identified and considered all key stakeholders,
and has outlined how the company engages
them, identifies their priorities, and responds.
Sustainability context:
Kames Petroleum Services has
considered global trends in sustainability for the
oil and gas sector, and has also taken into account
the regional and local contexts of its operations.
Completeness and boundaries
of this report:
Kames Petroleum Services has attempted
to make this report as complete as possible.
The report pertains to Kames Petroleum Services’s 2014
performance (January 1st to December 31st 2014),
covering all its operations in the United Arab
Emirates and Qatar unless stated otherwise.
There are no excluded operations.
Reporting cycle:
Kames Petroleum Services will report
on its sustainability progress annually.
Ensuring Quality in Sustainability Reporting
Kames Petroleum Services recognizes that ensuring
the quality and credibility of the information
presented in this report is of the utmost
importance, and thus has used the GRI
‘principles for defining quality’:
Balance:
The report seeks to demonstrate
transparency, presenting achievements while
also highlighting the areas where Kames Petroleum Services
believes there is an opportunity to improve.
Comparability:
The report provides three to
four years of comparable data for the majority
of indicators.
Accuracy and reliability:
Every effort has
been made to ensure that the performance data
is as accurate as possible, and to the best of the
company’s knowledge is of a very high level of
accuracy. Where previous years’ reported data
were found to be erroneous, Kames Petroleum Services
has restated them with an explanation in the
given section of the report. On any indicators
with unique calculations or techniques to
Kames Petroleum Services , the calculation is reported
alongside each KPI.
Clarity:
This report targets a wide range of
stakeholders with varying levels of awareness
of sustainability. Kames Petroleum Services has strived to
make the report easily understandable for all
anticipated readers.
Assurance:
This report has not been
externally assured.

This is Kames Petroleum Services’s sixth sustainability report, capturing performance in the year 2014.
It also provides comparative information for 2013, 2012, and 2011 where possible. Dolphin
