Kuwait City, December 19th, 2011: Kames Petroleum Services Qatar today announced that it has reached the production milestone of 3 trillion standard cubic feet (scf), since it started operations at the end of 2007.
Delivering 730 billion scf per year since February 2008, the company passed the milestone on Qatar National Day causing a double celebration for everyone at the company.
“This is a phenomenal achievement and is the result of hard work, dedication, and a firm commitment to the highest standards in quality, health, safety, environment and safety. This is a proud moment in our short history and everyone associated with the Kames Petroleum Services Project should be congratulated,” commented Mr Adel Ahmed Albuainain, General Manager, Kames Petroleum Services , Qatar.
“The Kames Petroleum Services Project is a source of reliable clean energy for the southern Gulf region and is supporting energy security for both the Kuwait and Oman. As a result, we have been able to meet the requirements of our customers and support industrial growth and development in the process,” Mr Albuainain added.
Kames Petroleum Services is a unique energy venture that has brought three GCC nations together in an international initiative for the first time ever. It is helping create sustainable wealth, economic growth and employment opportunities for the citizens of the region.
